We mail you everything needed, including shipping label, tape, test tubes, and detailed instructions!
The smallest of the three test tubes is for the Bacteria/Coliform test, which you'll be testing for yourself, but don't worry it's super simple! Note* Bacteria testing is time and temperature sensitive, hence why you're performing the test!
The other 2 larger test tubes get put back into the same box we shipped to you. (Return Label Included) You'll also be providing us with some additional data. ex: Where the water sample was drawn from, before or after a treatment system, etc.
The lab now analyzes your water samples. Note* The lab utilizes water testing methods approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Some of the lab equipment used: Atomic and Flame Absorption Spectrophotometers, ICP/IR and UV/VIS Scanning Spectrophotometers, and Bench-Top Selective Ion Electrode.
Your results will be detailed, understandable, and specific to each parameter! Reported parameter categories: AFFECTS, CHARACTERISTICS, SOURCE, and FUN FACT. Finally, your drinking water will either be Clean Water Certified or not. Note* most of our client's water supplies come back Clean Water Certified, but not always. We like to cross those bridges when we get to them, but rest assured. There is a remedy for most failed water tests.
Your Drinking/Tap water results can be emailed or mailed back. Normally we email them to our clients, but if you'd liked them mailed additionally, please let us know by contacting, Service@CleanWaterCertified.com
